Faux Leather and Gingham print Foldover Clutch

A Foldover Clutch...it's just a clutch that can be folded over. At first it was not my intention to create this as I just wanted to make a normal faux leather pouch with a gingham print fabric as contrast.

When I finished, I realized that the faux leather at the bottom was more sturdy than the fabric on top, so it naturally folded over because of the unevenness of the weight.

The contrast of the colours are beautiful and also timeless such that it would be compatible with any outfit but it would especially be best with a jeans and t-shirt.

Faux Leather Clutch with a Wrislet

A clutch is the next best thing next to the classic handbag. A clutch is suitable with casual wear and formal wear too and you don't have to carry around a big handbag all day (given that you don't bring your whole house out with you in a bag the whole day). A clutch is suitable for those who only bring the essentials such your smartphone and makeup out and about without any fuss. The milky white colour may easily get dirtied if not taken care of but it is also a neutral colour that is compatible with any outfit. It was not a hard project to do, all you need is the faux leather, lining fabric, a hook (for the wrislet), sewing supplies and a sewing machine.

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

I researched a lot through the Internet and Laura Vitale's is so far the easiest recipe for me so far. For me, I guess Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are considered healthy since banana is a fruit ? Unlike most people, I used a microwave oven since I don't own a normal big sized oven, so I used a muffin tin with only 6 moulds and doubled the time as this recipe makes a dozen muffins.

Ingredients:
½ Cup of Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs
½ Cup cup of Sugar
3 Mashed Bananas
¼ tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 2/3 Cup of All Purpose Flour
1 tsp of Baking Powder
½ tsp of Baking soda
¼ tsp of salt
1 Cup of chocolate chips

Procedure:

Preheat your oven. Line the muffin tin and set aside.
In a small bowl, add the chocolate chips and 3 tbsp of flour and mix until all the chocolate chips are coated. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the first 5 ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Next, add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and whisk it until it is all combined.
Add in the chocolate and flour mixture.
Use a spoon and divide the batter into the muffin pan evenly and bake for about 20 minutes (check the muffins during the last 5 minutes to make sure it is just right).

Faux Leather Box Pouch

I've made box pouches with different fabrics before, most of the fabrics I used are softer and not stiff enough for it to maintain a box shape. After a few months after I learned how to make a box pouch, I found this amazing fabric which looks similar to leather,but I unfortunately don't know the exact name of this fabric. I was afraid that I couldn't sew the fabric with my sewing machine, but to my surprise it could be sewn easily.

The use of this fabric made it more stable and will maintain it's shape. Thus, there was no need for interfacing to achieve the same affect. The box pouch is perfect for keeping toiletries or stationery on the go and at the same time it looks beautiful and fashionable too !

Cute Felt Kitten

This is an easy project for those who have time to spare. This cute little kitten can be made as a key chain or simple just for decorative purposes.
Materials/Tools needed are :
- White felt
- Dark brown felt
- Light brown felt
- Polyester fiber, cotton or anything that can be stuffed
- White thread
- Black thread
- Needle
- Scissors
For those who know what there doing would know that you don't actually have to have exact measurements or a pattern to make this simple stuffed animal. All you need is a creative mind to figure out what size or ration of the body, head or paws.
First of all, the head is an almost oval shape with two different shades of ears (which are not stuffed) and 'spots'. Black thread is being used to sewn in the eyes. Next, the body has an odd shape at the bottom with it acting as it's 'legs' or paws and two stuffed paws on two sides of it's upper body. This is overall easily understandable with the picture above as a reference.

Colorful friendship bracelet

This is a very different and unique zigzag friendship bracelets. Although it is not the hardest to do but it is very hard to pick the combination of the color. It is called the double zigzag friendship bracelet but it is also known as the diamond friendship bracelet. It is looks very flattering on anyone.
