I just wanted to share my sketch of a hand. This is by far the most real sketch I have done. After a few years since I started sketching I have finally learned that in order to make a sketch seem more lifelike, you need to rub off the outside lines and also sketch according to the lighting. If you want to make the shading look more even, you can rub it with your fingers or use an eraser to dab it gently. It could be helpful if the object you are sketching (if you are referring to a real object) is in a closer
distance so that you can observe the details more thoroughly to get a better result.
